Residential Homes

RABI owns and runs two residential homes, Beaufort House in Burnham-on-Sea and Manson House in Bury St Edmunds. They provide safe and secure long term care for older members of the farming community. Many residents find they have a farming background in common.

RABI has associations with other charities who own residential and nursing homes and sheltered housing throughout the country.

If you would like more information on either Beaufort or Manson House please contact the homes (see right).

Beaufort House

Beaufort House

Beaufort House is set in two acres on the outskirts of Burnham on Sea. This former boarding school has been extensively modernised although still maintains it's Victorian splendour.

24-hour residential care is provided, while the residents are encouraged to remain as independent as possible. The home has 28 rooms, most of which are en-suite and all have television points and an emergency call system.

Facilities include a TV lounge, bar lounge, conservatory, hairdressing salon and spa bath and therapy room.

In addition to the main house there are 17 sheltered flats for more active residents.

Manson House

Manson House

Manson House is conveniently located near the centre of the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds. The home is located in a quiet residential area of the town with the shops and other amenities a short walk away.

The home comprises 23 single rooms and 1 double, all with en-suite. There are also 19 sheltered flats. 24-hour residential care is also provided.

Facilities include a library, hobbies room, keep-fit classes and regular outings and entertainment.
