Trust Officer

21 hrs per week

Salary: £25,000 pro rata (£15,000 per annum)
1 year Fixed Term Contract

RABI is experiencing increasing demands on its resources, as our farming industry faces mounting challenges.  At the same time, we are entering an exciting period as we head towards our 150th anniversary in 2010. To support our work and help us grow, we are looking to recruit an experienced Trust Officer to maximise income from grant making trusts and foundations.  This new post has been created in response to increasing workload in a small but dynamic fundraising department.  Your role will be to build close and lasting relationships with trusts and foundations.  You will manage and develop our existing donors and identify, research, cultivate and apply to prospective supporters.

This role requires a creative thinker with excellent writing and interpersonal skills, accuracy and attention to detail, a proven track record in gaining grants from trusts and foundations, and a real desire to raise funds.  Experience in obtaining funds throughout Wales would be an advantage.
