Bob Archibald - Regional Officer, East England

Autumn has always been a busy time within agriculture and it is no different for RABI and its supporters. There have been many succesful and varied events in the region thanks to all those who have organised and supported them.

It was very good to join Sally Hubbard, our regional welfare office on her visits to some of our beneficiaires in Essex and Suffolk. It is both useful and encouraging to see how we help.

Over the past few months I have given several talks to WIs, YFCs, faith groups and the English Speaking Union. It is always rewarding when members of the audience come up to you afterwards and suggest tht they know someone who might benefit from a call from RABI.

There will be a series of RABI county committee meetings before Christmas to finalise some of the activities being arranged for the 150th celebrations next year. We hope you will be able to join us at the various regional events marking this milestone in RABI's history.
