Pymoor Show

On another glorious day the Cambridgeshire RABI committee attended the 12th annual Pymoor Show together with The Tractors Ancient and Modern team raffling the 1965 restored Ford 2000, the weather brought out the crowds to the largest show so far.

  

An Evening of Wine and Roses

As part of the 150th celebrations the RABI Cambrideshire committee held a wonderful Evening of Wine & Roses at Childerley Hall.  Guests were able to wander through the charming surroundings of the Hall and gardens.

A hot June evening saw 400 plus people enjoy a fantastic evening of wine, roses, beautiful gardens and great company.

Trustees Bob Forster and Meurig Raymond attended with Bob thanking the Cambridgeshire committee and in particular Christine Bish and Ava Paice for their hard work in making this such a lovely evening.

Childerley Hall was made available for our celebrations by the kind generosity of the Jenkins Family.

   

Morborne Lambing Day

March 2010

Peterborough NFU branch held their annual Lambing day at Morborne hosted by Nigel Rome and his family, over 3000 people attended the day which included not only the opportunity to see lambs being born but also the machinery used to work a modern farm.

There were displays around the farm yard showing the raw materials that every day foods are made from and the uses of wool. The chicks were a popular attraction as were the rides in the Wagon pulled by Shire Horses and the Pedal Tractors. The proceeds for the day are distributed between RABI, NSPCC and Morborne Church.
