Hertfordshire RABI committee chairman Nigel Collins with Mark Robinson, winner of a hamper of local food raffled by the committee at this year's Herts Show. With a hamper to be won on each of the three days on the stand hosted by the NFU branches, over £1,000 was raised.

Welly Colouring Competition

October 2010

The Pupils of St Michaels Primary School, Bishops Stortford Joined the antics of Welly Week and held a competition to find the best coloured/designed welly.

There were dozens of entries all beautifully coloured. The school then performed a play depicting some of the problems that can face a farmer when illness hits a small farming family.

Cereals

June 2010

At Cereals we were busy with the Tractor raffle organised by Tractors
Ancient and Modern.

Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Jim Paice paid us a visit on the New Holland stand to try his luck at winning the restored 1965 Ford 2000 tractor.

Mmembers of both the Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire committee together with members of Barclays Agricultural team helped with selling tickets.

The draw will take place at the Tractor Heritage Show, Newark on 14th November where it is hoped Lord Plumb will draw the winning ticket. To obtain tickets to win the tractor please telephone Andrew Hunt on 01366 388907.
