Harvest Thanksgiving Service, St Giles in the Field, London

Once again the Leicestershire committee have organised their annual Harvest Thanksgiving Service at St Giles in the Field, London on Sunday 3 October. The service will be followed by a Pork Pie Supper kindly sponsored by Sir David Samworth. For further information click on the image below.

Joint Cheese and Wine Evening with Warwickshire

The Leicestershire and Warwickshire RABI committees joined forces for a Cheese & Wine Evening held at the home of David and Margaret Ensors.

It was a very successful evening and raised £1880 for the charity.  Many thanks to everyone involved.

Fernie Hunt

May 2010

The Fernie Hunt once again donated their cap to RABI.  Milly Wastie went along to collect £700 from them.

Quiz Night

16 April 2010

The Leicestershire RABI committee held a quiz night at the shooting lodge, Kirkby Mallory by kind permission of the Grimsdell family.

10 team battled in out over 10 rounds of questions with two additional bonus rounds, followed by a light supper and good conversation. A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all and £500 was raised for RABI.

Market Harborough NFU Dinner Dance

Market Harborough NFU branch held their annual dinner dance at Leicester Racecourse on the 29th January 2010.  They took this opportunity to present a cheque for £4380 to RABI committee members, Brian & Veronica Sutton. this was from the grain haul held during 2009 and raffle from the evening.

A big thank you must go to everyone involved for supporting our charity and for raising such a fantastic amount.
