Art in a Box
July 2011
The Art in the Box initiative kicked off at Pastures Farm Grendon, organised by Debbie Skinner to raise the profile of art in rural areas, encourage other farmers to take part in similar activities and raise money for RABI.
30 local artist displayed works of art throughout the week in Debbie’s converted stable block- come art gallery.
The week kicked off with a preview evening where local farmers and RABI supporters were able to view the paintings, place orders and enjoy light refreshments. Then throughout the week local people could come and view the display. It is hoped that others in the farming community may take up a similar scheme to display art and raise money, especially when Debbie raised over £1,000 for RABI.
