We have had an excellent year this year. Despite the current economic climate we seem to still have the usual enthusisam for fundraising! I am really looking forward to our 150th anniversay year and hope that the north east can show 'em how its done! We are making sure that there are special events, dinner, crazy Welly Week antics, luncheons and concerts.

What I would like to concentrate on are two easy things that everybody can get involved with - they are Farmhouse Breakfasts and the Cream Tea Week. If you would like to organise a breakfast or a cream tea, either just inviting your friends round and asking for a small donation or organising one in your area please let me know. They are quite easy to do and great fun! Keep your eye on local press and of course our website for details of what is happening in our area. The first 2010 dinner we have is on 26th February at the Black Sheep Brewery, Masham. Lets' kick the year off inthe way it deserves - I'm relly exicited - I love parties!
