Driffield Show

21 July 2010

RABI was presented with a cheque for £610 from the Tractor Run held on the Sunday 6th June.  Organisers Mr & Mrs Sleight and daughter Jenny were instrumental in organising it with the proceeds being split between RABI and the Air Ambulance.

150th Birthday Party

4 July 2010

As part of the 150th anniversary celebrations the East Yorkshire committee organised a birthday party at Manor Farm, Bewholme by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Elliott.  Over 100 people attended and the evening raised £1,100.  Brandesburton YFC ran the bar and helped serve the food while Bainton YFC provided the entertainment.

    

Driffield Golf AM AM

21 June 2010

The East Yorkshire committee organised another very successful Golf AM AM at Driffield Golf Club on the 21st June.  36 teams entered raising £5,000 for the charity.

Many thanks must go to Derek and Mary Lamplough for their hard work in organising the day.

   

YFC RABI Competition

Judging of the cakes and cushion covers at the East Riding YFC Federation Rally at South Park, Burstwick.

     

Cream Tea Event

May 2010

Jennifer and Keith Moore of the East Yorkshire committee organised a Cream Tea Event at Fimber Village Hall on the 18th May.  The ladies farming group hold regular meetings and this time had a guest speaker, Chris Whitfield talking about the Yorkshire Dialect which was followed by afternoon tea.

This raised £353 as part of the Cream Tea campaign.
