Northumberland YFC County Rally

Sally Conner was very pleased to stop by the Tritlington YFC County Rally recently to be presented with a cheque for £750 which had been raised by the group during 2009.

NFU Centenary Dinner Dance

October 2008

Thanks to a huge amount of time and effort by the Northumberland RABI committee and Alan Coxon from Co Durham, a very successful dinner dance, celebrating the centenary of the NFU was held at the Hilton, Gateshead. With the table centre decorations in wellies, the occasion was also used to launch the north east's Welly Week celebrations. 320 guests danced the night away to the Ray Chester Big Band and over £4,000 was raised for RABI.

A1 Vets Cycle Ride

October 2008

Northumberland RABI chairman Michael Richardson and regional officer Sally Conner congratulated cyclists from the A1 Northumbria Veterinary Group at the completion of their 'try'athlon, in the main ring at the Glendale Show, Wooler.

Members of the group had run, canoed and cycled between its veterinary practices across the country, raising funds for three charities, including RABI. Organised by senior partner John McFarlane they raised over £1,000 for RABI.
