Georgina Lamb - Regional Officer, North West England

There is never a dull moment in the life of an RABI regional officer! One minute I am shaking hands with royalty, the next I'm clinging onto a rock halfway down the River Eden and then watching camel racing in Yorkshire! What an exciting autumn it has been with highlights coming from all counties!

2010 is going to be a year to remember for all those involved with the charity and I am very much looking forward to the fantastic selection of events and celebrations throughout the north west (and beyond if I am invited!).

Farmhouse Breakfast Week will no doubt be a hit again in Cumbria. Cheshire will be hosting a birthday party to remember, featuring the very popular Handbags of Harmonies ladies choir plus birthday cake and party bags for all! Lancashire have a band night and dinner dance to look forward to and we will be donning black ties in Kendal in April. Keep an eye out for updates on all the events in the north west and I look forward to seeing you there!
