Carol Evening

December 2009

The annual Carol Evening at Lavender Farm was again well attended.  By kind permission of Jacky and the Abbott family people were provided with mulled wine and mince pies after they had sung for their supper!

This event which was held over two evenings drew in about 40 people to each concert. Not bad for a cold gloomy time of year.

A big thank you to everyone involved and for raising £800 for RABI.

     

Ploughing Match

September 2009

The annual Isle of Wight ploughing match was once again a great success.  Each year gets busier than the previous one and a big thank you must go to the Isle of Wight committee for their hard work and help on the day.

     

Bluebell and Woodland Walk

25 April 2009

The Isle of Wight committee once again held a very succesful walk through 40 acres of bluebell woods at Newnham Farm, Binstead. The tour was guided by Hugh Milner and followed by tea and cake on the lawn

140 people attended on the day and raised £850 for RABI. A big thank you to John and Di Cleaver and the Isle of Wight committee.
