Skittles Evening

The West Sussex committee held a Skittles evening at Daylands Farm by kind permission of the Crush family.  This has become a regular feature of their fundraising calendar and is always a good night out. 100 people attended raising £640.

   

South of England Show

10 -12 July 2010

The South of England Show was as always a very busy event and despite the efforts of the summer weather the rain did not put people off.

As charity of the show we were able to run a bucket and blanket collection around the showground and Plumpton and Brinsbury Colleges along with Sussex YFC were kind enough to help with this.

  

The RABI promotional trailers along with a static milking display attracted a fair amount of attention.

  

It was a hectic day for many and West Sussex Chairman, David Burden took a little siesta before tackling the afternoons activities!

Valentines Phest

February 2010

The Valentines Phest held at Burpham Village Hall raised £2100 for RABI and the Countryside Alliance.  With venison sausages kindly produced and provided by the Duke of Norfolk's estate plus local cheese and homemade raspberry cheesecake it was a real feast.

Peter Knight, Arundel Estate Manager was master of the proceedings with veterinary surgeon, Chris Ginnett as guest speaker.
