South Devon Herd Book Society supporting RABI at the Cornwall Show

The South Devon Herd Book Society generously supported RABI with a raffle which was held in the run up to the Royal Cornwall Show.  The winning tickets were drawn at the show on Saturday 12th June. Details of the winners and how much was raised are not yet available but watch this space for further details.

150th Anniversary Raffle - Dick Twinny Original Painting

A painting donated by renowned artist Dick Twinney was the main prize in the RABI raffle at this year's Royal Cornwall Show where RABI was the charity of the year. Dick who lives in Cornwall and has an international following, also provided painting demonstrations on RABI's stand during the show. Cornwall committee chairman Chris Riddle said: "Dick's fabulous support of the work of RABI, particulalry in this 150th anniversary year, is hugely appreciated and the painting which has has done especially for us will be highly sought after. With a gallery valuation of £1,875 it will make an excellent top prize and we hope that a very large number of tickets will be sold."
