Firstly, I must say thank you to the agricultural associations in the East for their support to the RABI committees at their shows. Without this support we could not reach so many people, both those who might need our assistance and, just as important, those who wish to support us with donations or their valuable time.

Our committees have a full programme this autumn with several one-day shows and, of course, Welly Week. the Norfolk committee are producing a calendar of local supporters in their wellies and are arranging a welly barn dance on Friday 17th October at the Norfolk showground; Suffolk have plans for a 'welly good brunch' and Essex will be at the Mersea Island ploughing match on Saturday 18th October with a welly wanging competition.

The Cambridgeshire committee are also holding a welly wanging competition at the East of England showground's Autumn Show on Sunday 12th October and at the Stockman's Dinner on the Saturday evening non-wearers of wellies will be fined. All in aid of helping those in need.
