There is a wide range of events taking place in the north west this autumn including a Cumbrian dance event at the Westmorland showground, featuring the fabulous Picasso brothers, a live act playing hits from the 50s to the 00s.

Cheshire is planning a fabulous Sunday lunch in a marquee, with a Welly twist. The welly olympics hits the YFCs in the north west with a whole host of welly-based races and competitions finished off with a 3-legged welly pub-crawl, of course! I am looking forward to taking part across the counties and sampling drinks along the way!

Thanks to everyone who ordered the Cumbrian cookery book, it is going down a storm and I hope those who have bought it have found the recipes delicious. If anyone would like to order copies for Christmas please contact me.
