Surrey Gala EveningJune 2008 The Surrey committee once again held a very successful Gala evening in the garden of Brewerstreet Farm courtesy of Mr & Mrs Chris French. As usual the tombola was well supported as was the evening as a whole. Many thanks to everyone for their hard work.
Surrey County Show26 May 2008 The Countryside Alliance Foundation joined forces with The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute (RABI), too undertake an educationally themed stand at the Surrey County Show 26th May 2008. The theme of the stand was “What lives in the Hedgerow” Children (and adults) were invited to guess what the pictures where in, around and under the hedgerow. Bugs and stickers were awarded to children on guessing the right names. Thanks to Surrey Agricultural Society. We won second prize for best agricultural stand.
Surrey County ShowJune 2007 RABI had a marquee at a very wet and cold Surry County Show earlier this month. It was a real shame about the weather but not much could be done.
Surrey Gala Evening22nd June 2007 The 36th Surrey Gala Evening was held at Norwood Place Farm, Horley on the 22nd June 2007. Another spectacular evening for the Surrey committee and our thanks must go to Bill and Ena Westnedge for their hospitality. Luckily the weather held and the evening was enjoyed by all. The amount raised has not yet been confirmed.
