 Fundraising newsRABI's 150th Anniversary2010 In 2010 RABI will be celebrating 150 years of helping those in the farming industry and also 75 years since the charity was granted a Royal Charter. 2010 is definately a year to celebrate. We are already making plans for various events throughout the year. We are very pleased to announce that the 9th February 2010 has been booked for a celebration service at Westminster Abbey. Other events and celebrations are in the planning stage and a calendar of dates will be published very soon. The RABI calendar has become a regular feature over the past few years and for 2010 we want to make it even more special. Our theme will be farming practices over the past 150 years and we are on the look out for old photos. We want to choose a selection of old images to put alongside modern equivalents. For example a photo of the harvest being brought in by hand would be contrasted with a picture of modern day harvesting. Alongside this we would have a new photo taken of today's harvest. If you have any old photos that we might be able to use please send them to Nicholas Bond, at Shaw House. All pictures will be returned as soon as a copy has been made.
