 Fundraising newsNational Welly Week11-18 October 2008 Raise some money and have some FUN!Welly Week is an exciting fundraising campaign for RABI. The idea is to take part in any activity involving wellies between 11-18 October 2008. We hope to use this opportunity to not only raise funds for our charity but to raise awareness amongst people who might not necessarily have heard of our work. The money raised will go towards funding the special equipment such as stairlifts, riser/recliner chairs and electrically powered vehicles which we frequently provide. In addition to this is could help with home adaptations to accommodate people with disabilities. We are very pleased that this campaign now has the backing of Farmers Weekly, the NFU and NFYFC. Details of events that these individual organisations will be holding can be found on their websites. A Fundraising Pack can be downloaded HERE. If you have any ideas for an event or would like to be involved please contact your Regional Officer or Head Office on 01865 724931. Watch this space for updates. The flyers below can be downloaded by clicking on them alternatively contact Head Office to order stocks of posters, flyers and stickers for your events.
YFC Annual ConventionA big thank you must go to the NFYFC for inviting RABI to their Annual Convention in Blackpool at the beginning of May. Regional Officers, Fay Dewey and Georgina Lamb were on hand sporting some very eye catching T-shirts to promote Welly Week to the YFC county groups.
