Cornflower Tribute Fund
In Memoriam donations in lieu of floral tributes at the funeral of a loved one is an increasingly important source of income for all charities.
We all celebrate anniversaries. Some are happy, but others are sad occasions and none more poignant than those when we remember the death of someone we have dearly loved.
For some it is enough that the name of the loved one is commemorated on a memorial stone or a park bench but many people would welcome the opportunity to make a memorial tribute which lives on and brings help to others. This is what the RABI Cornflower Tribute Fund enables you to do.
When a tribute fund is set up, friends and relatives of the deceased will be able to make personal donations whenever they want, and the fund will remain open to receive contributions. It may be particularly appropriate to make an annual memorial donation on a special occasion, like a birthday or a wedding anniversary. In this way the memory is kept alive each year and the donation gives real help to those in need, since all the money raised by the tribute fund will be used to provide direct help and support to those in need in the farming community.
Each tribute fund will be personalised to include the name of the person who has died and this name will be recorded, with all the others, in a book of remembrance, which will be held at the RABI Head Office.
Information Packs on how to set up a Tribute Fund are available from Head Office. For more details contact the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications Department on 01865 724931.
