Challenge Events
Whether it is on foot, on two wheels or through the air, the number of people taking on a challenge to raise funds for RABI is growing.

Top of the World Challenge
'Top of the World 2012' is the name we have given to our fundraising event. The event itself is The 3 Peaks Challenge which is climbing Ben Nevis, Scaffel Pike and Mt Snowdon the three tallest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours!. We have 21 Young Farmers doing the event from both Acle and North Walsham Young Farmers Clubs.
Over the past months we have all been training hard for the challenge and are all looking to the weekend of the 9th and 10th of June when the event takes place.
The two charities that we are raising money for are The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution and The Norfolk Deaf Association. The main reason why the group chose these two charities is because they help those who have shaped our agricultural industry in generations before us, helping to make it what it is and why we all enjoy it as much as we do.

AtlasFram Group Tackle the 3 Peaks Challenge
On Saturday 14th July employees of AtlasFram Group plan to tackle the 3 Peaks Challenge - climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in just 24 hours.
They have chosen to support 2 charities, Cancer Research and RABI (Royal Agricultural Benevolent Society). You can donate to either of these charities (or both) by clicking on the link HERE.
The participants will be:
Abbie Lyon, Amy Peach, Andrew Merton, Ashley Gilman, Barry Howard (on behalf of ADM), Ed Thomson, Graham Aldrich, Katya Wilkinson, Peter Waite, Richard Anscombe, Tim Styles and Tyrone Campbell-Twells.
This will be a tough challenge to complete and will require lots of training as most of us sit behind desks all day. Please dig deep as we're aiming to raise a massive £5000 for our 2 chosen charities.
In case you were wondering, here's how we plan climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours. We'll start climbing Ben Nevis at 5pm so that we complete it before it's too dark to see! Then we'll make the 6 hour drive to Scafell Pike in the Lake District so that we begin climbing around 4am. That needs to be completed in 4 hours so that we can drive to the foot of Snowdon for 1pm. We'll then be really up against the clock as we'll have just 4 hours to reach the summit of Snowdon and descend again back to our vehicles by 5pm!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails.
