Westminster Abbey Service - 24th February 2010
The 150th celebrations certainly got off to a good start with the Thanksgiving Service at Westminster Abbey on the 24th February in the presence of HRH The Duke of Gloucester.
Over 1300 people travelled from all over the country to attend and we must send a big thank you to everyone who made this effort.
Testimonies from Mary Kenward and John Wyatt both brought tears to quite a number of eyes and can be downloaded from the links below.
RABI Chaplain and Trustee, John Oliver gave a rousing and interesting sermon which is available HERE.
Once again many thanks to everyone who made it such a special occasion. To Newton Investment Mangement for sponsoring the event, Clarissa Hallings-Pott for producing and carrying the wonderful standard and all the YFCs who acted as ushers. There are many other people who added to the day in a number of ways and the list would go on for pages.
